Retro Adventure game



- The development process overall

This is the first game I have made on unity. My development process required lots of rewatching of the class zooms and lots of research on unity coding. I decided to develop a simple and straightforward game (as per the assignment) not only because it allows the concept to read well, but also because this software has been extremely hard for me. 

- Successes (What went right)

My game communicates my intended message very well and it is readable. It includes all required aspects we were supposed to include and the game runs well. 

 

- Failures (What went wrong)

I suppose I wish that the game's walls were more stiff so the character could not reach behind them. I also wish that graphically the game was more satisfying and attractive, but given the time and my lack of experience with the software this was not the most important aspect. 

- Lessons Learned (What did you learn from your failures or how did you overcome them)

I learned how to code on unity, how to create elements that react with each other, honestly every aspect of my game other than the drawings was a new thing learned for me as I did not know anything about this software. 

- Future Development (If you were to continue working on this game how would you improve it)

I would make the game more graphically pleasing and make the elements of the game more fine tuned and react with each other perfectly.
